Having finished his tale the storyteller holds up a box saying "Who will buy a genuine map to the mountain of Torgar, only five silver pieces." You sling the man the money and examine the map he gave you. It looks genuine enough, so you decide to set out the next day. It takes a little over two weeks to reach the mountain, and now you stand before the torch lit entrance to the Dungeon of Torgar.
The archived version of this game, for ZX Spectrum, is credited as being a conversion by Antony Collins of Pegasus Software/The Guild. (It also went on to be sold by The Adventure Workshop).
It's presumed that the Spectrum version was converted from a (currently unarchived) Amstrad CPC version, like Simon's other games. The Spectrum version dates from at least as early as 1991, as referenced in The Guild advertising.
