My head hurts. Groggily, I try to remember why... and suddenly, the memories of the night before come rushing back.
I was walking to the bus station, humming one of the pieces the symphony had just played. Halfway there, I realized I must have left my cell phone back at the theater. As I was searching through my purse, someone spoke in my ear - "Excuse me, miss - I believe you left your phone?"
The man's voice was low and even; he explained that while he was not allowed to remove anything from the building, he would gladly escort me back to retrieve it. I thanked him, and we turned back towards the theater. We had only walked a few steps when I heard a grunt, and out of nowhere, something slammed into my head! I reeled, falling against a wall; I felt myself slide down to the ground, and then... nothing.
