Synopsis

Plot

Set in the mid 1980s, the goal of the game is to gain entrance into Runcibal's nightclub.

Notes

The original version was developed for the BBC Micro while the author was at Rugby School c.1987. The adventure takes place in the school and the surrounding areas of Rugby. The BBC Micro version doesn't seem to have ever been widely released.

Runcibal 2.0 was programmed in QuickBASIC on the PC. The PC version (version 2) is dated 1992. Tim seems to have been working on this version at least as early as 1990 as there are references to a propotype PC version in his ms-dos directory shareware program 'DOR'.

A Windows version of the game (for both 16-bit and 32-bit versions of Windows) called Runcibal 2001 was produced in 2001.
