Synopsis

You work in the Research and Development Department of a marvelous company (NOT!), called ICON, Inc. ICON's sole function is to replace the written language with illustrative symbols on which they hold copyrights; their greatest coup being the little-red-circle-with-a-line-through-it which you, yourself, developed. (It's the only thing you have developed for them, and you didn't really mean to do it, but the janitor found some doodling you had done on a memo sheet, thought it was important and sent it to the CEO.)

In fact you don't like your job and you really don't like ICON, but they were the only people who were hiring English majors (as translators) when you graduated from college. Nevertheless, you did accept the $1500 bonus for the little-red-circle-with-a-line-through-it and you still keep on working there. It is a job, and it does pay the bills (kind of, mostly) and you DO have creative freedom (that means you can play computer games at work and no one bothers you), so you stay.

You are now getting ready to take your vacation - the first vacation you've taken in a few years. It's Friday night and you're officially off work for the next two weeks.

This game was the co-winner of the 7th Annual Softworks AGT Competition in 1993.
