Synopsis

Plot

The game begins in a marketplace in ancient Greece. North of the marketplace is the throne room of King Pelias, where the king orders you to retrieve the Golden Fleece or die. East of the marketplace is the Temple of Zeus, where Zeus orders you to bring him seven treasures, then he'll help you on your quest.

So, this turns out to be a good old-fashioned treasure hunt, loosely based on the Greek myth about Jason and the Argonauts. It is written in the style of a Scott Adams adventure, right down to the two-part screen, upper-case text, brief responses to your commands, some very clever puzzles and the obligatory maze.

Notes

This was originally written in two days by J. Robinson Wheeler as an entry in Speed-IF Argonaut. It was awarded an XYZZY award for 'Best use of medium'.
An unofficial port exists for the C64.
