Set in Victorian London, anno 1888, you take the role of a gentleman who stumbles across one of Jack the Ripper's victims. Unfortunately you are mistaken for the killer! In this three-part adventure you must get the police off your tail and ultimately track down and confront the real culprit in the city's underworld.
Notes
The text was written by St. Brides, very much in the vein of Rod Pike's games (also released by CRL). The company then added a number of gory images to the game, which consequently was the first to receive an '18' rating in the UK.
The Commodore 64 version of the game runs on a specially commissioned version of the PAWs interpreter which was not available to the general public.
Lots of potential in this one, but some of the puzzles are a bit counter-intuitive, and the atmosphere suffers from trying to outdo CRL's own Rod Pike titles.
