Synopsis

Plot

As famed Professor Deadrock, it is your bounden duty to undertake any mission that comes your way. When The Times gave details of the fabulous treasure to be found in the native jungles of Yogistani, you rose to the challenge like a man and immediately chartered an expedition to go there.

However, being a bungling idiot you managed to lose the rest of your crew, and now find yourself alone in the vast jungle. Can you recover the treasure on your own?

Come on Deadrock - England is waiting.

Notes

This game is listed as being written by Steven C. Darnold in TPUG Magazine, June/July 1985; see here. It was available from public domain libraries, such as that of TPUG.

A C64 version of the game appeared on the fourth issue of 64 Tape Computing. The game was titled African Adventure on the tape inlay but Jungle Bunny in the game itself. Peter Gerrard (as editor of the magazine and someone who used the 'Deadrock' character in later adventure columns) may have had some involvement in this version.

Jungle Bunny is just a version of the earlier Castlemaze Adventure, with the setting changed.

The game appears to have been later (unofficially?) ported to PC.
