Synopsis

Every day the same old grind, working for a miserable sum that only just allows for a comfortable existence, in a job with very little satisfaction. It robs all your time, too; time you could fill with the million exciting projects flowing through your head. So what are you going to do to break out of the rut? How are you going to escape from the mire of bureaucracy that intrudes into every aspect of life? Not by buying tickets in the State Lottery every week, that’s for sure.

No sir, the only way is to be bold, one big step. So, you decide to steal five hundred million credits, and now is the point when action is required. Brace yourself and plunge in - run the program on your terminal and then buy the exit visas. But make sure you get your gun out of hiding first because today’s the day. It’s going to be a big one; a very big one. It almost seems a shame that you have to keep your secrets to yourself. But you just can’t trust anyone, you know.

Notes

Based on the British science fiction TV show Blake's 7.

Appears to have started life as a C64 game as early as 1997; as mentioned in an issue of Chronicles, a fanzine dedicated to the show.

The game was later ported (2003?) to Inform and there are also mentions of an Inform 7 port. Some versions may be incomplete.

There are references to the game on Blake's 7 fan sites; see here, here and also at The Adventurers Guild.
