A demonstration adventure from Christopher Lampton's 1986 book, How to Create Adventure Games, published by Franklin Watts as part of their Computer-awareness first book series.
The listings and examples in the book were written for computers running dialects of Microsoft BASIC, particularly TRS-80 and Commodore machines. Notes in the book explain some of the adaptations needed for other platforms such as Apple and PC DOS.
As well as this completed adventure, The Quest, the book also included a simple adventure game skeleton.
The MC-10 port of the game is listed as being by Eric Underhill.
There is a VIC-20 (+16K) version of the game available.
Jim Gerrie has created an additional version of the game for the TRS-80 MC-10.
