The land of Zar is cursed by an evil Covenant known as the Superstition.
A brave adventurer is called for to search the land of Zar and seek out the Covenant, destroying the fellowship of the Superstition. Being the only one who turned up for the kind's speech, it falls upon you to take up this quest.
The first in a planned eight-part series; of which only two games appear to have been released.

The available image of this is heavily bugged.
There are objects which are too heavy to carry, and others which don't appear when they should.
Some messages flash up on the screen, only to disappear almost immediately.
Having pulled apart the code with an eye to correcting any errors, there were just too many to provide much incentive.
It's always difficult to know if the final version of a lot of these games are the ones that are actually archived; particularly those for computers where there was an active PD scene, such as the Amstrad CPC. The game did receive 62% in Amstrad Action 54, but is described in a later issue as "mediocre". The sequel, the Chaos Maze, got an even lower 57% (in AA 80) and there is a specific reference in that review to a bug in that one that makes it incompletable.
