Plot

Hurrying through the rainswept November night, you're glad to see the bright lights of the Opera House. It's surprising that there aren't more people about but, hey, what do you expect in a cheap demo game...

This was written by Iain Merrick using the pseudonym of 'Roddy Ramieson'.

This is one of the games that was written with the Advanced Authoring System (AAS) released on 1 April 2003. Although the AAS project is nowadays considered to be a "hoax", it included a complete editor and interpreter written in Java, a specification of the file format used for the XML source code, a user manual and a web site. In fact, it is more thoroughly documented than some of the "serious" adventure authoring systems and it was all done in one month!

This is a variation on Cloak of Darkness by Roger Firth.
