The last thing you remember is being hit over the head by an unknown assailant. You arise slowly as you begin to regain consciousness. Your head is throbbing heavily but you think you'll live. Propping your weary body against what appears to be a small bed, you lethargically gaze at your
newfound surroundings. You don't know where you are or how long you have been out, but that is the least of your problems right now. It appears that your attacker made off with your things, including your food and water.
You're beginning to think things couldn't get much hopeless, when suddenly you hear a loud howling noise not ten feet from you. You can't make out too well in the dark, but it appears to be a monster
of rather large proportions. Not to mention a large appetite...
Your Quest Begins...

Exists in several different forms, including a modified 7.05 version that Paul described as being "more compact and has better gameplay overall".
Paul described Mystic Castle as the C64 version of this game.
But Paul also wrote a specific C64 version as West Front to Apse 64.
