The goal is to explore the castle south of town and retrieve a hidden scepter (missing from the throne room).
Announced on Usenet on Jun 24, 2004: "This is a simple, 8k adventure game written for use in GW-Basic, Qbasic and PowerBASIC".
In the program listing it states "Converted from the Commodore 64 on June 23, 2004".
The was converted by Mark Musante on June 24, 2004 to TADS for Windows/DOS/Linux. This version was approved by Paul so is listed here as official.
Paul's website specifically provides downloads for the C64 & ZX Spectrum versions of the game; as well as downloads for André Baune's English & French ZX81 ports; so these have been added as official platforms.

Nice little game, although it seemed like there were several objects which were not required for completion. Interestingly, the combat scenarios use random numbers - so on one try you might be successful on killing the goblin, but on another you might lose and it's game over.
Very short but enjoyable while it lasted (C64 version). I probably wouldn't have played if it wasn't for the rating and/or the comment so keep adding ratings / comments for games :)
