One fine, summer's morning, you wake up to find a letter from your Uncle Edan. Opening it, you quickly read the contents:
Dear Jasper,
I'm writing because I need your help.
The thing dearest to me in the world has been stolen. I dare not even identify the object by name; but you will know it when you recover it. Alas, there is little more which I can add. Please hurry. Time is not on our side.
Your affectionate Uncle,
Edan.
The original Amstrad version, created with the GAC, was published by Dragonsoft before being re-released by The Adventure Workshop. The Amstrad Action review of the Adventure Workshop version, from issue 104, seems to suggest that although sharing the scenario (and author) the later release was a different game.
The later Spectrum port was produced with the PAW.
The Adventure Workshop versions were (erroneously) advertised and sold under the title The Eunuch's Ball although the in-game title remained unchanged.
