Wordlight also later sold a BBC version (inlays for this are dated 1984).
The Omen Software branded releases seem to be from 1984. Omen was another trading name for Wordlight.
Huw Ford (of HFS) was the author of the original Commodore versions. The BBC version of the game is credited to Gavin J. Cradle. The Dragon 32 version is credited to Anthony Mansell.

You are in a dessert? Not a good start...
Actually the game is won when you leave the world of Tezrel through a wardrobe. Now where did I hear that one before? :) - Its even got a "red fish", not a "red herring", although it seems it has the same function in this game. :)
