At the time of the first crusade, the king tasked Altea, the wizard, to create a great weapon. Altea crafted a sword from the finest metals and gave it all the power he could summon. When it was complete, there were nine mounts to hold nine jewels, one for each of the knights templar. As each knight proclaimed victory in new lands to be strongholds for the faith, that knight claimed a precious stone to place in his mount on the sword. After the templars had claimed nine victories, and nine jewels, the sword was entrusted to the first knight and it was passed down through the generations.
In the year 1113 AD, Algarim, one of the knights lineage, returned to England with the sword. When he died, he had no wife and no descendants. Legend claims that he was buried in a small church vault, along with the sword.
As a famous archeologist, you have stumbled on some ancient maps that were long lost in a museum's archives. The maps show an old church, that you didn't know existed, and show references to a great burial. You are convinced that this has something to do with the legend of the sacred sword and you are determined to find out.

It was then compiled by John E and Spite Ripsoft in 1992 and released as 'Guardian Adventure'.
