Fantasy Quest is a daring adventure into the unknown, having entered a castle success will evade you unless you can escape with the treasure hidden in the deepest and darkest rooms.
The original version of the game, simply called Quest, was written for the Sharp MZ-80K and sold, directly by the author in 1981. By late 1982, the author was also selling versions for the MZ-80A & B.
Kuma also published the version for MZ-80A and MZ-700.
The Oric and Einstein versions were released in 1983.

A tedious creation with little finesse or interest. I have so far mapped 50 locations and found one of the four sectors of the eye which wasn't even guarded by a puzzle; you just open a case and pick it up. The game seems to consist of "small chambers," "massive chambers," and endless monster's lairs. Puzzles seem almost non-existent. To add to the general malaise the Oricutron emulator keyboard randomly locks up and I have to shut the thing down and reopen it. Do yourself a favour and give this a miss.
