Synopsis

You are Miss Celeste Temple, twenty-five years old-a wealthy plantation owner’s daughter who is both sharp-witted and beautiful. But lately your eyes have been ringed red. You have cried yourself to sleep at night, and sipped only bitter tea by day. Your aunt Agathe is starting to worry about you, and urges you to eat something. But the unfolding of recent events has left you confused and sad.
