ELF RESCUE
Walk Through by Dorothy Millard (C64 Version)


Note
This walk through takes you through most locations in the game, although it can be completed in a
much shorter form.

Walk Through
(You are asked by Grimwald to find Durin the elf), N, W (castle armoury), GET SWORD, W (castle
kitchen), GET ANTIDOTE, N (moat - leave the rope as it is a red herring), E (leave the esky), N
(moors), GET TORCH, N (rocky northern ridges), GET SPEAR, S, E, N, E, S (Rivendale, home of the
elves - you are given an elf stone for protection), W, W, W, S, S, W, S (great hall - don't
worry about the ghost, he won't actually harm you), E (dark dungeon), USE TORCH (now you can
see the way out), W, N.

E, E, E, S (tunnel through dwarf mountain - a suit of armour is given to you by the dwarves), E
(canyon of no return), GET KEY, N (vast cave where a lurking dragon attacks), THROW SPEAR (great
aim... he slumps to the ground), N (well where you pause to drink but it is poisoned and you grow
dizzy), DRINK ANTIDOTE (it works), S, w, w, W, N, N, W (cellar where you meet a troll), KILL TROLL
(using sword), UNLOCK CELL......

CONGRATULATIONS
The key fits the lock and the door opens.
Durin is here, you save him and take him home to Rivendale.
Great Wealth is heaped upon you and you live happily every after.
