ISLAND ADVENTURE Royal-Soft Walk Through by Dorothy Millard (C64 Version) Notes 1. This adventure has no objects as such listed in the game - just assume they are there! 2. It is very linear, if you don't do something which seems quite insignificant, for examine CHECK KEY, the next part won't work, so follow the solution exactly. Walk Through (Start on board ship with water pouring in through a hole in the side), REPAIR HOLE (it is closed... to the north you see an island but there is no wind), SAY ROW (which way?), NORTH (you land on a beach... you are hungry but don't be tempted to eat the coconuts yet or they will be poisoned), SMELL COCONUTS (you eat them and feel better), CLIMB CLIFFS, GO HOUSE (you stand in front of the house), KNOCK WINDOW (a little man appears through a secret door and asks if you want to come in), SAY YES PLEASE (you both enter... he says you can take ten important things), MAP, RIFLE, LADDER, SHOVEL, MEDICIN (note the spelling), TENT, FOOD, FLASHLIGHT, CLOTHES, MATCHBOX (you made the only one correct choice), ASK ABOUT TREASURE (the man says "Go straight on into the jungle"), SAY THANK YOU, SAY GOOD BYE, GO DOOR (it's closed), OPEN DOOR (it's locked), GET KEY (the door is open and you go out to in front of the jungle). GO JUNGLE, READ MAP (it's closed), OPEN MAP, READ MAP (it has grown dunkel now - I think they mean dark!), GET FLASHLIGHT (see the map), GO NORTH (by the way it doesn't really matter which direction you choose - you will still walk for three hours and finish up in a deep hole), GET LADDER, CLIMB LADDER, GET SHOVEL, BUILD LADDER (not sure why this works but it does... you stand near the hole... you go further into the jungle... a poisonous snake creeps over you), GET STONE (wise choice... you come to a river and buy a boat... in the middle of the river is an alligator), GET SLEEP-SPRAY (you row to the other side and land). GO NORTH (a man says "The solution to the secret is here"), DIG HOLE (you find a chest), OPEN CHEST (it's locked), ASK MAN FOR KEY, OPEN CHEST (wrong key), CHECK KEY (it's okay), SAY THANK YOU (we must open the chest), DIG HOLE (you dig deeper and deeper and find a not-locked box with a key in it), CHECK KEY (again - not sure why but it won't work if you don't), HELP (What is in the chest?), OPEN CHEST (see a letter), OPEN LETTER (you hold it in your hands), READ LETTER (Dunkel again), GET FLASHLIGHT (the treasure is on the island ten miles north from here), GO NORTH (you come to the northern beach - which size ship do you want?), 2 (MIDDLE - you have made the correct choice - note the GREAT will sink in the reefs and SMALL cannot take the weight of the treasure), PAY BILL, GO NORTH (you sail to the island to the north... this is the end of the adventure - there is no congratulatory message or even ending - just READY!)
