PART ONE
Scene 1
You are shown the scene of the crime where Mr. Sidney was shot. You must position the magnifying
glass over the correct location to reveal objects.

1. Briefcase key in body's right trouser pocket.
2. Wallet in left hand jacket pocket.
3. Diary & black and white photo in briefcase.
4. Bullet hole in wall, three spaces left of door.

Scene 2
You are shown a room where the shot was fired.

1. Fingerprint on window, just below latch.
2. Cigarette butt on top of plant-pot.
3. Spent cartridge on floor, behind curtain.

PART TWO
This part is where you gather information and statements from other characters in the game. You only
have to input certain names or words to get the answers you need. There are seven main characters in
this part:

1) There are four options you can choose to gather information:
2) S = Statement   E = Examination   M = Message   C = Comparison
3) The final option comes in at the end   A = Arrest.
4) Type in the OPTION then press RETURN, then type in the SECOND PART, which most times is the name,
and press RETURN and finally the THIRD PART, which is the address, then RETURN.
5) Do not type in the words in brackets.

lover).

JAMES (daughter - I don't recognise the people in the shade in this

admit to having an affair with Marianne for a few months. Since Marianne had asked her husband for a
divorce I had no need to kill him. At the time of his death I was with some customers in Lyon.)

kill for money. I gave him 20,000 francs to kill Sidney on the day I was in Lyon.

(Since Tino has told you so, I admit I did throw the Camel cigarette butt into the vase and that my
rifle was used. Tino offered me 30,000 francs to kill Sidney. I had no job or money, so I
accepted...
