S (Fenwick's foyer - ignore the hat), W, S, W (hall), EXAMINE PICTURE, S (mater bedroom), READ
DIARY (Mrs. Fenwick went to the phone booth to get the phone repaired - note stew for dinner), N, E,
E (dining room), GET PUTTER (Mr. Fenwick won't let you), S (kitchen), DROP HAIRPIN, GET
CARROTS, GET ONIONS, GET MEAT, GET POTATOES, GET KETTLE, MAKE STEW, N (dining room), FEED MR.

gypsy), EXAMINE GYPSY, PAY GYPSY (she sees a woman trapped in an underground prison... with a puff
of smoke you find yourself outside), E, E, E, E, E (back yard), S (by fence), READ NOTEBOOK (reads
that the ground beneath may reveal a treat), DIG GROUND (with what?), SHOVEL (find a coin), DROP
SHOVEL, GET COIN, EXAMINE COIN (a quarter).

N, E, N, N, N, N, N, N (arcade), EXAMINE PAC-MAN (there's a place where you can insert quarters
or tokens), INSERT COIN (into what?), PAC-MAN (note PAC-MAN must be in capitals - you get the high
score for the day and the attendant gives you something), INVENTORY (it was a piece of paper), READ
PAPER (it's for a free game for a putt putt course), S, S, S, S, S, S (sidewalk), S, S, W, S,
S, E (kitchen), GET HAIRPIN, W, S (putting green), DROP BALL, PUTT BALL (must have the shoes, putter
and free game ticket - a trapdoor opens and you fall into an underground hallway), EXAMINE
FOOTPRINTS (a lady's), S (underground junction), S (see steel wall), EXAMINE WALL
(impenetrable), N, E, E (see lock connected to some machinery), PICK LOCK (using the hairpin - steel
door slides away), W, W, S, S (round room - you've found Mrs. Fenwick who will follow you, but
there is one more thing you must do), GET CHAIR, N, N, N (to where the hole is in the ceiling), DROP
CHAIR, CLIMB CHAIR (out of the pit to the back porch of the Fenwick house), N, E, N (dining room).

You did it!!!
You rescued Mrs. Fenwick and reunited her with her husband!!!
