The Plague - Redux
Walkthrough
Thursday Evening
Wait until the train arrives.
Once it does you will need to escape from the underground station. Head north from the platform and
keep going north until you reach the ticket hall where you will lose sight of Andrea and Rachel.
Head northeast into the mall then north into the corridor. As you move up the stairs you will be hit
by a swinging arm but you will still make it up and out.
The street is in utter chaos. Your friends will scream and then a crowd will surge from the
station.
You will be knocked unconscious and will awake back in the station.
Thursday Night
Now you are alone. The station entrance is blocked and there is no way out from here.
Head downstairs. Ignore the vending machine for now. You need to find £1.20 in change before you
can use it. Continue south and go into the kiosk. Pick up the baseball cap and wear it. Examine the
till. Read the note then open the door using the combination code. Go into the stockroom. Look
behind the boxes to find the torch.
Leave the kiosk and head for the mall. Examine the blood stained child rides to find some coins.
Go into WH Smith and examine the woman's body. Take the torn bible.
Next stop is the gift shop. The telephone has no line so ignore it. Examine the counter to see the
answering machine. Play the messages.
Head for the ticket hall. Examine the empty ticket windows to find some coins. Head south over the
barriers. Now you will meet Nick. Talk to him until you suss him as a creep then try and leave. He
will attack you but you will end up killing him. Search his body to find the cigarettes and
lighter.
Head back to the mall and into the McDonalds. With a bit more guts - after your encounter with Nick
- examine the baby highchairs then pick up the handbag. Open it to find a pair of gloves.
Wear the gloves and then go back to the station entrance. Take the pole. Now you have a weapon.
Head back to the ticket hall and keep going south until the crossways. Head east until you reach the
bench. Examine it to find some coins. Walk east and go into the men's toilets. Examine the
broken condom machine to find some coins. Now explore the women's toilets. Open the cubicle
door and kill the zombies feeding. You'll find some more coins. Head outside into the corridor
and back to the walkway. Go southeast until you reach sealed door. Examine the litter bin to find
the cable. Walk back to the crossways and travel west.
Head north onto the parade and east into JJB sports. Examine the mess of footwear to find the
trainers. Remove your shoes and wear the trainers. Go into the travel shop, pick up the jacket and
wear it. Inspect the broken desk to find some coins.
Head back to the vending machine and insert the coins. Press the button. Head back to the parade and
go into the café. Talk to the injured woman. Give her the bottle of water. Kill the zombies as they
emerge from the back office. Go into the office and take the poster. Go back into the café and
search the drawers to find a screwdriver. Go back into the office once more and open the vent. Now
move up and follow the shaft until you find a body. You will push the body through the opening. Move
down and search the dead man. Take the camera and smash it. Put the batteries into the torch.
Walk south until you reach the top of the escalators. Turn on the torch and head down. Kill the
first batch of zombies in the walkway then continue west and down onto the disused tracks to fight
the second batch. Here you will meet Ray. Talk to him until he asks for cigarettes. Give him the
cigarettes. Now follow a lengthy cut scene where you return to the café and find that Kate has been
turned into a zombie. Ray will leave you (for now) but has given you a bunch of keys.
Now walk back to the ticket hall and take the northwest corridor.
Unlock the door and step inside. Go north and then east into the locker room. Search the lockers and
wear the jeans you find.
Head back to the platform (not the disused one). Turn on the torch and kill the zombies on the
platform. With the jacket, trainers and jeans you will be able to jump down onto the rails and head
east. Kill a second batch of zombies and then follow the long tunnel until you find the bolt
cutters.
Retrace your steps back to the staff area.
Go into the lounge and watch the TV. Turn off the TV. Now use the bolt cutters to remove the chain.
Follow the sobbing until you reach a locked door. Smash the door down and talk to the girl
imprisoned. Leave her alone and head back to the hallway. Go north into the canteen and examine the
notice board. Now examine the photographs. Go back to the girl and trying talking to her again. Now
you know her name she will open up. Then give her the bible and she will react badly. Once she has
stormed off head back to the platform. There's nothing worth taking in the carriages so try to
go up on the roof. Throw the cable. Head across the roof and open the hatch. Drop down into the
carriage and kill the zombies. Move down again and then west along the tunnel until you reach the
locked door.
Now try to walk back east. You will meet Candice and Ray. After the lengthy cut scene the game will
advance into the early hours of Friday Morning.
Open the door to escape from the station and win the game.
