Scenario
You are a Narcotics Investigator for the Federation.  Recognised by your superiors as being amongst
the best in the field, you have been issued with the latest in interstellar scout craft and
dispatched, single-handed, to crack a suspected drug ring in the Alpha Scyni System.

(you are in orbit around Rastic), LAND, S, S, S, S, LAND (Kether's starport), N, N (bar), TALK
TO BARMAID (she wants money), PAY BARMAID (she points out two people), WAIT (a starship navigator
talks to you), TALK TO MAN (wants a beer), BUY BEER, TALK TO MAN (you learn that something funny is
going on and that the fat broad to the west knows something about it), W, WAIT (she eventually
leaves), FOLLOW WOMAN (to a short side street), W (she enters her apartment), S (in the shadows),
WAIT (Albert visits her), FOLLOW MAN (he spots you and ducks down a side-street... he tells you to
meet him at the Hotel Maltz), HAIL TAXI (you wave down a passing helicab and climb in), SAY HOTEL
MALTZ (after a short journey you arrive).

LEAVE TAXI, S (hotel), U (twelfth floor), E (room where you see the man you were supposed to meet
has been shot), EXAMINE MAN (you find a card and a letter), EXAMINE LETTER (note Café Hercules),
EXAMINE CARD (a library card), W, D, N (back outside), HAIL TAXI, SAY LIBRARY, LEAVE TAXI (outside
the city central library), E (you are seated at a terminal), INSERT CARD (screen flashes into life),
EXAMINE SCREEN (select option), TYPE 2, EXAMINE SCREEN (note Babbet), TYPE 3, EXAMINE SCREEN (type
name of person), TYPE BABBET, EXAMINE SCREEN (note address), TYPE 6, EXAMINE SCREEN (there appears
to be some undeclared cargo), REMOVE CARD, W (back outside), HAIL TAXI, SAY 112 OCKER STREET, LEAVE
TAXI (grounds of a large warehouse), S (back of warehouse), EXAMINE RUBBISH (reveal a door), E
(through the door to a short corridor), S (small room - a vidiphone begins to buzz and you hear
footsteps), HIDE (he is meeting Albert at the Café Hercules), N, W, N, HAIL TAXI, SAY CAFÉ
HERCULES, LEAVE TAXI, W (inside café), TALK TO OWNER, E (a man points a blaster at you), SHOOT MAN
(before he dies he says that you are next - note Sparks), HAIL TAXI, SAY SPARKS.

LEAVE TAXI (Sparks is a bar), E (two men point guns at you and insist you go with them to the
driveway of a huge manor house), EXAMINE HEDGE (see a hole), JUMP THROUGH HOLE (you take the gunmen
by surprise and manage to sprint across a golf course to get away from them), U (in a tree), WAIT
(your pursuers run past), D, N (before house), EXAMINE WINDOW (see an alarm which would trigger when
the window opens), SHOOT ALARM, OPEN WINDOW (you climb in to a short corridor - you hear muffled
sounds from the other side of the door), LISTEN (hear them talking - note botanical gardens), S, S,
U (back up the tree), WAIT (they run past again), D, S (dirt road), W, S (helicab port), ENTER TAXI,
SAY BOTANICAL GARDENS, LEAVE TAXI, LOOK AROUND (see two suspicious items, a man in a tree with a
high-powered hunting blaster, and a long black sloop with darkened windows parked behind one of the
greenhouses), SHOOT SNIPER, TALK TO WOMAN (you ask Mrs. Tirus if she has the documents... there is
an explosion, somebody planted a bomb... you see a young man climbing into the sloop carrying the
box of documents... you run out onto the road and flag down a passing car... you are pursuing the
black sloop), E, N, N, W, N, E, E, S, E, E (you finally get close enough to "take it
out"), RAM SLOOP (it fishtails over the verge and hits a tree), EXAMINE BODIES (find a slip of
paper), EXAMINE PAPER (reads "Atlas"), EXAMINE WRECKAGE (find the safety-deposit box),
EXAMINE BOX (locked), SHOOT BOX (find some documents), EXAMINE DOCUMENTS (they incriminate Rita
Drass and "Blaster" Babbet).

ENTER CAR (you return to starport), N, E (heliport), HIRE HELIJET (you fly out to the tiny,
vegetation covered island... you are asked the password), SAY ATLAS, LAND, N (second bay where you
see an anti-dray), DRIVE DRAY (through the doors), EXAMINE CONTAINERS (full of Solvadol-X), MOVE
CONTAINERS (see the body of a man in the corner), EXAMINE BODY, GET NOTE, READ NOTE (reads
"River"), N, E, S (long corridor where an enormous four-legged dog-like beast stands in
front of you), SHOOT BEAST, E (armoury), LOOK AROUND (find a hand grenade), W, S, W, S, S (octagonal
room where you see a chrome robot which asks "In one word, what am I?"), SAY ANTARIAN (it
shuts down and allows you to pass), S, W (corridor where there is a large control panel), EXAMINE
PANEL, E, E, E (office where you meet Rita), FIGHT RITA (she mumbles "up... then
left..."), N (command room), EXAMINE SCREEN (shows production figures for Solvadol-X and other
information about it), S, W, W, N, N, N (intersection), W, N (floating above you is a metre-wide,
saucer-shaped robot that asks for the "Word of the day?"), SAY RIVER (pass), W (small room
with a large square plastic table hanging in mid-air), EXAMINE TABLE (lying on it is a key), EXAMINE
KEY (for shutting down the reactor), E, N.

E (by helijet), ENTER HELIJET, W, S (starport), E (to where ships are parked), ENTER SHIP (you climb
back into your ship and take-off), W, W, W, W, S (minefield is surrounding target), EXAMINE MINES,
SHOOT MINES, LAND, E, D (tunnel), D (cylindrical chamber where you see an X with an iris in the
centre which continually opens and closes), SHOOT DEVICE (it is protected by a force field), DIVE
UNDER DEVICE (an arc of electricity hits you sending you sprawling back), THROW GRENADE (into the
iris), S, W (cone-shaped room... the iris suddenly opens revealing empty space... the atmosphere
rushes out taking you with it... you are in a garbage disposal room), LOOK AROUND (see a lever),
PULL LEVER (the iris lock shuts), S, JUMP (from sphere to sphere, avoiding the tentacles), W
(storeroom), EXAMINE CONTAINERS (now have the Solvadol-X), E, E (an alien is here), SHOOT ALIEN (it
absorbs the energy blast and isn't affected), THROW DRUG (into its mouth and it falls into the
pit), E.

N (tiny square room with a row of buttons by a door), PUSH UP (the door opens and you walk through
to a tiny room with another door and more buttons), PUSH LEFT (you are in a sumptuous living-area
where standing beside the screen is "Blaster" Babbet), SHOOT SCREEN (he was hiding behind
the screen and the figure you saw was a reflection), EXAMINE BABBET (you find a peculiar plastic
case), EXAMINE CASE, BREAK CASE (you are left holding a shiny piece of plastic), EXAMINE PLASTIC
(note the legend "12A7"), S, S, S, S (main control room), INSERT KEY, TURN KEY (it
won't turn, it seems to be "locked"), TYPE 12A7 (hear a click from the keyhole), TURN
KEY (self-destruct sequence is initiated), N, W, W, N, N, UP, UP, W, ENTER SHIP (launching your ship
into space you make a hasty departure... the asteroid explodes in a ball of radioactive fire, taking
the refinery, stores, shuttles and the rest of the criminal organisation with it).
