The Maze by Fermented Software Hints ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before playing The Maze the game should be reset, otherwise the type of actions taken in previous plays of the game will affect the final score. To reset the game: 1. Start The Maze as normal. 2. On the explanatory text screen press any key. 3. Answer N (enter) to the resume an earlier adventure, printer connected, and learn a little screens. 4. Give your first and second names separated by a space (and press enter). 5. To the prompt "what shall I do?" press the enter key (the picture should disappear). 6. At the second "what shall I do?" prompt type Z (enter), this should quit the game and return to the DOS prompt. 7. At the DOS prompt type RUN ZERO FF (enter). 8. After the disc activity has stopped re-boot the computer to start the game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Commands F go forward L turn left R turn right A turn about I take inventory DRAW MAP or M display a partial map Z quit the game Note that taking your inventory or checking the map reduces the likelihood of you receiving a good grade. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- A welcome word can speed up travel.
