This is a minimal solution to a very harsh game. It's full of instant death, timed events that
may get you killed and guess-the-verb. The latter two make a deadly combo. You'll need to
EXAMINE or LOOK at lots of things for this solution to make sense. Some optional (but significant)
commands are shown in parentheses. These can be omitted once you know what to do.

(LOOK LICHEN) (it's very dry and brittle)
