This is a minimal solution. You'll need to EXAMINE some things for this solution to make sense.
You can also try HELP and select option A to get a list of the verbs understood.

When referring to an object, you must spell it out in full, e.g. GET MAGICAL SWORD will work, but
GET SWORD won't.

The game has several creatures. You can attack the creatures or they can attack you. In either case,
you will enter a RPG-like battle sequence. You have no control over the sequence, as the outcome is
determined by a random number generator. Your chances of a successful outcome depend on your
strength, attack value and defense value. These default to 20, 11 and 16 respectively. You can
improve your strength by eating food, attack value by acquiring the magical sword and defense value
by acquiring the magical armour. The armour's defense value degrades after being slimed at the
gentle hill of stone, so make sure you wash it straight away.

The giant beetle and elf are harmless, so leave them alone. The ogre and skeleton conceal objects
that you need, so you will need to attack them. The snake protects an object that you need and it
attacks you anyway, so you have no choice. The dragon prevents further progress and also attacks
you, so you have no choice. The dragon is the strongest of all the creatures, so be prepared for
it.

If you fall into a pit, just GET OUT PIT, but this reduces your strength by 2.
