Solution by Garry Francis
----------------------------------------
This is a minimal solution to a very long, slow tedious game. You're objective is to find three
mushrooms and give them to granny so that she can make a mushroom stew. However, there are ten
mushrooms to be found and only five of them are safe to eat. The other five have various degrees of
toxicity. Although the book gives you a vague clue as to which ones may be dangerous, the only real
way to find out is by trial and error, getting sick, seeing the score and starting over again. The
mushrooms and their toxicity (from safest to most dangerous) are as follows:

Toxicity Mushroom
     0 Striped mushroom
     0 Broad fungus
     0 Golden mushroom
     0 Inky mushroom
     0 Squat mushroom
    25 Russet mushroom
    50 Indigo mushroom
    75 Polkadot mushroom
   100 Skinny mushroom
   125 Tall mushroom

There are virtually no puzzles in this game. All you have to do is examine things as follows:
1. Identify every noun in the room description and the objects found in the room and write them
down.
2. Systematically examine every noun that you found and cross it off the list.
3. In every response, identify every new noun that you found and add it to the list.
4. When you have examined every noun in the room, move on to the next room and repeat the process.
Do this for every room in the game.

There are some nouns that cannot be examined, even if you know they're there, until you have
examined something else unrelated in another room. Follow the sequence in the solution and you
can't go wrong.

After you've given granny three mushrooms and she makes the stew, your score is calculated
based on the total toxicity of the mushrooms. You're aiming for a score of 0. If you're a
real glutten for punishment, you can try other combinations of mushrooms giving you scores from 25
to 300 in increments of 25. Each score has a different impact on your health. The game also tells
you how many mushrooms you discovered. Your aim is to find all the mushrooms, but only give three
safe mushrooms to granny to get a score of 0.

Mushrooms found are shown in brackets as +A=B, where A is mushroom found and B is cumulative
mushrooms found.
