MASTER CLASS
Trinity Software
Spectrum 48

While this game is intriguing in that it gives hints through all the
riddles found by examining the blackboards, the riddles are very difficult
to decipher (at least by me who did not have an English public school
education). I would like to be able to say I solved them and thus finished
the game the way it was meant to be played but that did not happen. I
suppose that figuring out all the riddles will eventually give you hints
that you need to push the cupboard in the study three times. Possibly more
information came with the purchased game.

There are locations you can visit and many objects you can take, but only a
few you actually need. It is tedious in that not only can you carry only a
limited number of objects, you cannot drop more than three objects in each
location. Exits are not marked, so you will spend much time just looking
around. The game seems to be an exercise in futility (sort of like school
for some people).

You are a teacher at a small public school. Your headmaster (who owns the
school) is retiring and has promised to pass on the school to the teacher
who can locate the deeds. These deeds have been hidden somewhere in the
school and a trail of clues has been laid. You enter the school during the
vacation to begin your attempt.

Complete the series puzzle by matching each number with its corresponding
letter.

The following are the hints written on various blackboards.

1. WHEN TIME IS SHOWN, WHO'S ON THE THRONE?"
2. THE PLAY'S THE THING, SAID SOMEONE WISE, BUT CAN YOU TELL HOW MANY RISE?
3. THE ANCIENT WRITING SPEAKS OF FATE, BUT TOP AND BOTTOM DON'T MAKE EIGHT!
(WHAT DO THEY MAKE?)
4. FIRST INSERT-THEN EXTRACT, SAY WHAT'S FOUND INSIDE IT PACKED.
15th. of March! Take a stab at it. (If you can find it!)
5. JUST TO PUT YOU ON THE SPOT, SAY WHAT IS WRITTEN (NOT A LOT!)
6. IMAGINE! (IN THE STRICTEST SENSE) COMBINE TO GIVE THE CONSEQUENCE.
7. THIS SOUNDS OK ALTHOUGH IT'S NOT, BUT ONLY WHILE IT'S NOT TOO HOT!
8. DRINK TO ME ONLY WITH THINE EYES AND TELL ME WITH THEM WHAT THERE LIES.
9. THE ONLY HELP I'M GIVING YOU IS LOOK ON THIS TO SOLVE THE CLUE!
10. WHEN I PUT YOU TO THE TEST, PLEASE CARRY ON AND GIVE THE REST.
11. WHEN STUMPED FOR AN ANSWER JUST GIVE IT A GO, DELIVER THE GOODS AND SAY
WHAT IS ON SHOW!
12. PRAY GIVE ME THE NUMBER I HAVE IN MY MIND, RELIGIOUSLY SEEK AND SO YE
SHALL FIND.
