You'll need to EXAMINE lots of things for this solution to make sense. There are five spells. The first spell is random. From then on, they cycle in a predictable order. The spells are (in order): FREEZE: This freezes an object in place and thaws anything that's previously been frozen. Once frozen, no other spell can be applied to the same object until it's been thawed. This spell has no practical use other than to be a nuisance. Don't freeze the door while you're in the lavatory or you can't get out until you freeze something else. PUSH: This sends an object to limbo. You can use this to move the cart and/or the cod, then use POP to return them later (see below). Don't use it on the hatch in the tail section or you'll be drowned by seawater. Don't use it on the mirror in the lavatory or it will be reflected at you and you'll be sent to limbo. (You can return, though.) BALANCE: This summons an element to even out a situation. The only element that ever gets summoned is the cod, but it cannot be summoned in business class (which is where you need it), so summon it from somewhere else. Once summoned, use the PUSH spell to send it to limbo, move to business class and use the POP spell to return it. Don't let it appear in the galley or it will die. It needs water to survive. JIGGER: This loosens anything that's stuck. You can use it on the storage bin, cart and bulkhead. POP: This returns the object that's stored in limbo. You can use this to return the cod once it's been sent to limbo. There's a twinkie and a statuette stored in limbo at the start of the game, but these have no use. In all cases, if you use a spell that gets you into an unwinnable situation, use UNDO immediately and try it again on a different object or in a different location. After extensive testing, I believe the following solution works for all possible scenarios. The first two USE WAND ON XXX moves are to set you up for all the magic that's to follow. This is the simplest way to do this in a safe and predictable manner.
