And Then is Heard no More
By Harald A Helfgott

Solution by Garry Francis
----------------------------------------
This is a minimal solution to an awful game. Sincere thanks to David Welbourn for the solution, as I
couldn't have worked it out by myself. Score is shown in brackets.

When the game shows a "<--->" prompt, you can't do anything other than press a
key and watch the story unfold. You will have to do this 3 to 5 times before the the normal
">" prompt appears. You then have one move to examine something or do something to
influence the game before the process repeats. There is virtually nothing you can do that will
influence the game, but you have to keep trying until you hit on the solution.

After the 4th normal prompt, you reach a point where you get wounded. The press-a-key prompt then
changes to indicate your hit points or health points like in a role playing game. It starts with
"<HP:Bad>", then progresses to "<HP:Awful>",
"<HP:Dying>" and eventually you die. You only get 5 normal prompts before you die.
That's not even enough to examine all the characters present. You must then restart the game
and repeat the painful process.

Here's the solution to put you out of your misery.
