This is a minimal solution. You'll need to LOOK at lots of things for this solution to make
sense. There are many random elements. Scores are given in brackets as A/B, where A = points
awarded, B = cumulative points awarded. Maximum score is 8 points.
You won't initially have enough money to buy everything from the store. On your first attempt,
buy the food and the pouch of tobacco. Give the food to the golden rattler so that you can get to
the Indian reservation, then give the pouch to the Indian to get the magic stick. Check your
inventory at the creek and you'll see that the magic stick is a divining rod. Keep checking
your inventory as you map the desert and you'll find another source of water. Once you know its
location, you can avoid buying the food and pouch on subsequent games. That's why these
aren't in the solution.
