THE JEWELS OF HONOUR

This is a most unsatisfactory game. Despite its descriptions, there is 
little to examine in the locations, it is full of grammatical errors, 
lots of "dead" locations, and several illogical deductions. The parser 
is limited and the vocabulary  sometimes unusual. There are also many 
unnecessary objects (some you would expect to be necessary but are 
not). Apparently there are objects in the game that I have not found, 
though the game can be solved without them. In Part 2, you find that 
you are carrying things that you did not pick up. You cannot drop the 
rope, even though you did not take it in Part 1.

Your objective is to get four jewels.

Part 1:
INVENTORY (you have a herb), EXAMINE HERB, TASTE HERB (bitter), EXAMINE 
GUARD (he holds a sword with a red jewel), EXAMINE JEWEL, N (you must 
prove yourself - all of this is a red herring), DICTIONARY (helpful 
verbs), E, WAIT (an old man appears and tells you to keep to the path), 
IN FOREST (the trees part), GO PATH, WAIT (the hermit wants something), 
GIVE HERB (he gives you a bottle and leads you to a dell), EXAMINE 
BOTTLE (fresh water), N, W, EXAMINE HUT (could prove fatal), W, LIFT 
ROPE, CLIMB IN BOAT, EXAMINE BOAT (you see two holes and a tarp), LIFT 
TARP, TAKE OARS, INSERT OARS, ROW BOAT (you cross the lake), IN, 
EXAMINE GRASS, LIFT UP, TAKE JEWEL, EXAMINE JEWEL (one of the jewels of 
honour), OUT.

Go E, N, W, EXAMINE TRAIL, GO TRAIL, IN, EXAMINE FIRE (you see a 
sword), EXAMINE INSCRIPTION (you see a lever), PULL LEVER (you turn a 
troll into stone), TAKE SWORD (fire is too hot), EXTINGUISH FIRE, TAKE 
SWORD, EXAMINE SWORD (made by elves), OUT, GO PATH (ignore the rope), 
DOWN, W, TAKE HELMET, WEAR HELMET, N, DOWN, EXAMINE BACKPACK, INVENTORY 
(you now have a jewel), EXAMINE JEWEL, UP, S, E, EXAMINE RIVER 
(passable), CROSS RIVER, TAKE POLE, N, N (ignore the hook), W, IN, 
EXAMINE MYSTIC (he wants something), GIVE POLE. You are given the 
password for part 2 - Aadventure@.

Part 2:
You need two more jewels. DROP HOOK, GIVE SWORD (you get a levitation 
spell), OUT, ADVENTURE, OUT, E, CAST LEVITATION (you are on the other 
side of the lake), N, E, N, N, LOOK BEHIND SHELF, TAKE LOAF, EAT LOAF, 
S, S, TAKE SPELL, EXAMINE SPELL (summoning spell), W, N, N, EXAMINE 
PLAQUE, BEND PLAQUE (you find a coin), TAKE COIN, EXAMINE COIN, 
DICTIONARY (helpful words), E, IN, E, TAKE MATCH, W, OUT, W, S, S, W, 
LIFT BOULDER (too heavy), GIVE COIN, GYPSY LIFT, TAKE DAGGER, EXAMINE 
DAGGER, S, EXAMINE DEVICE (there is a jewel on it), EXAMINE JEWEL (it's 
stuck), WAIT, TAKE JEWEL, EXAMINE JEWEL (jewel of honour).



Go N, E, N, W, N (you see a troll), JUMP OVER, UP OUT, E, S (ignore the 
bottle, unless you want to take a drink), N, E, W, N, WEAR HELMET, IN 
CAR, TAKE PICK, HIT ROCK, PULL JEWEL, TAKE JEWEL, EXAMINE JEWEL (jewel 
of honour), DROP PICK, CAST SUMMONING, EXAMINE FATHER, FATHER HELP (he 
transports you into a pit), GO PATH, W, S, E, EXAMINE CARAVAN, IN, 
EXAMINE CHEST, OPEN CHEST (I think you need the dagger), EXAMINE CHEST 
(blankets), LIGHT MATCH, DROP LIGHTED MATCH (the chest bursts into 
flames – you'd think you need the whiskey but you don't), REDESCRIBE, 
TAKE BAG, OUT, PUT JEWELS IN BAG, S (you see the King), WAIT, GIVE BAG. 
You are finished.
