GIANTS by Edward Beck This is an interesting game, though you are not quite sure what it is you are supposed to do. You are small and everything is giant around you. With time, you learn that you are a father and you have a son, whom you need to get to help you. The purpose becomes also becomes clear. You need some serum to return to your original size. Because you cannot do so on your own, you need to get a message through to your son. You are threatened by many large objects and animals. This is one of the few games in which EXAMINE is not a frequently used verb. Some of the vocabulary is a bit obscure and it cannot be easily inferred what you are to do (e.g. when you see a window, you are to know that you need to ENTER HOUSE). Also, the exits are not marked and you spend a lot of time trying various directions. However, the descriptions of your son's playthings and other things seen from the point of view of a tiny person, are cute.
