Solution.


Version 1.0 of this game contains several bugs, some of which make certain puzzles irrelevant, this
solution assumes that these puzzles cannot be bypassed. However there is one bug that cannot be
ignored because it causes the game to crash (though perhaps not on a CoCo 3), the one known method
to overcome this problem is to save the game with the game's built-in save routine before the
game crashes. Therefore the disk must be write-enabled, and if an emulator is being used that
emulator must be able to write to the virtual disk. After saving the game the computer (real or
emulated) must be rebooted, the game restarted, and the saved game loaded.


START
W, get key, w, open door, n, n, drop key, e, get card, w, w, w, insert card, s, s, get pill, n, n,
w, w, s, s, get mirror, n, w, w, s, examine dwarf, give pill, get shovel, w, w, w (there is no
apparent use for the Wooden Figure, so ignore it), n, n, n, get cheese.


DIGGING AROUND
E, e, s, e, s, e, e, n, e, w, dig, get coin, e, e, n, n, give cheese, get flashlight, e, e, e, e,
drop mirror, dig, get jewel, w, w, dig (the Diamond is another object for which there is no apparent
use), w, n, n (Bug alert! It is assumed that the exit east should not yet exist.), examine speaker,
n, n (ignore the Silver Statue), w, w, dig, drop shovel, get sword, e, e, e (Bug alert! Any further
movement will crash the game), save.


REBOOT
Reboot the computer and run the game. Load, e, e, give jewel, get scroll, w, w, w, s, s, examine
scroll, say carikhakha (now the exit east exists!), drop scroll, e, e, e (ignore the Good Luck
Ring), get batteries, w, w, w (Bug alert! From this point you should be able to move to where the
sword was obtained and then south to an entrance to the dark area but digging for the sword removes
this option, thankfully there is another entrance to the dark zone.), s, s, w, s, s, w, w, s, w, w,
n, w, n, light flashlight.


THE DARK ZONE
N (there are objects to the east, a Golden Cup and a 'Skelaton' key, but again these
objects appear to be red herrings), n (Bug alert! It is assumed that the exit west should not yet
exist.), insert coin (now the exit west exists!), n, examine guard (Bug alert! It is assumed that
the guard should prevent movement north.), kill guard (now you can move north!), drop sword, n, n, e
(ignore the Amulet), e, get light, w, w, s, s, s, w, w, n, n, n, insert light.
