This is a challenging game, as you need to do some things in a particular 
order. The story evolves as you go.

Rather than give a step-by-step walkthrough, this solution tells you the 
order to do things, and at times, the specific vocabulary you need to 
use. The mapping is left up to you.	

Drop things in a central location, like the main hall or the entrance 
hall. Take all objects as they are necessary elsewhere, with the 
exception of the spade. Leave it where you found it. Wear what you can. 
(The objects you will need to perform other tasks are in brackets).

In the study: 
SEARCH DESK, FEEL UNDER DESK, PRESS BUTTON, SEARCH DRAWER. 

In the drinks lounge:
OPEN CABINET, SEARCH CHAIR. (lighter, decanter)

In the shed:
SEARCH SHELVES. (gloves, hammer)

By the tree:
CLIMB TREE, FEEL IN TREE, DOWN. (cloth package)

In the garden:
Have the hammer. EXAMINE STATUE, OPEN CLOTH, EXAMINE FIGURINE, BREAK 
FIGURINE WITH HAMMER, READ SCROLL, EXAMINE PEDESTAL, TAKE CHISEL, CHIP 
HEAD, CHIP HEAD, TAKE CLOTH. (head)

In the chapel:
EXAMINE FONT, EMPTY DECANTER, FILL DECANTER WITH WATER, EXAMINE ALTAR. 
(crucifix)

At the grave:
SEARCH SOIL. (spade)

At the summer lounge:
EXAMINE TABLE. (polish)

In the library:
SEARCH SHELVES, READ DIARY.

In the bedroom with the four-poster:
EXAMINE WARDROBE, EXAMINE CARVINGS, PUSH SHIELD (you hear a click), OPEN 
WARDROBE, E, READ CLIPPING. (blueprint)

In the bare bedroom:
EXAMINE FLOOR. (key)

In the bedroom east of the middle corridor:
SEARCH DRESSER. (flashlight)

By the attic:
POUR POLISH ON CLOTH, CLEAN MIRROR, EXAMINE MIRROR (you see no 
reflection), DROP POLISH, DROP CLOTH, CLIMB ROPE SLOWLY, FEEL IN BELL. 
(dynamite)

By the locked door:
UNLOCK DOOR, OPEN DOOR, DROP KEY, E, SEARCH SHELF, FEEL SHELF, LOOK UNDER 
BENCH. (jar of acid, pill)

At the kitchen:
TURN FLASHLIGHT ON, DOWN, FEEL STEP, SEARCH SHELVES. (drill, drill bit)

At the wall:
Carry the blueprint. Retrieve the drill, drill bit, decanter, sledge 
hammer, dynamite, lighter, jar of acid, flashlight. INSERT BIT IN DRILL, 
DRILL HOLE IN WALL, LIGHT DYNAMITE, INSERT DYNAMITE IN HOLE, W, E, DROP 
BLUEPRINT, DROP DRILL, DROP BIT, N, N (you hear the story and learn what 
you need to do next). 

At the limestone slab:
POUR ACID ON SLAB, HIT SLAB WITH HAMMER.

At the chest:
POUR WATER ON CHEST, OPEN CHEST, LOOK IN CHEST. (dagger)

At the jetty:
You need to have the head and aqualung. WEAR AQUALUNG, WEAR MOUTHPIECE, 
JUMP IN WATER, SEARCH WEEDS, TAKE OAR, N, SEARCH WEEDS, LIFT BOAT WITH 
OAR, DROP OAR, EXAMINE REMAINS, EXAMINE CHAIN, HIT CHAIN, DROP HEAD, TAKE 
REMAINS. (body)

At the grave:
DOWN, DROP REMAINS, UP, TAKE SPADE, FILL GRAVE. (pendant)

At the casket:
You need to have the pill, crucifix, pendant, dagger, and flashlight. 
EXAMINE CASKET, EXAMINE LID, OPEN LID (you can't), EAT PILL. Continue 
going east and west, until you feel a surge of power), LIFT LID, ENTER 
CASKET, TURN FLASHLIGHT ON, N, EXAMINE VAMPIRE, EXAMINE EYES, SHOW 
CRUCIFIX, BURN VAMPIRE WITH CRUCIFIX, N, EXAMINE LORD, SHOW PENDANT, BURN 
LORD WITH DAGGER.

You are finished.
