***************** * FANTASTIC FOUR ***************** Bugs: ------ How to pick up the cannon with Torch: - Enter in the circus tent (but DON'T CLOSE eyes). - Enter in the cannon. - Optional: if you've the powder, drop it inside cannon. - Leave the cannon. - RingMaster commands you to leave, but... if you use the 'I' command (inventory) you'll notice that the cannon is one of your items. :D - After that, you can go to dr Doom's castle (the screen with Blob) and drop cannon there -note that you won't be able to pick it up again-. Solution: 1) ENTER THE CAVE [WITH THING] ASK CHIEF (game begins, Torch appears outside a shack, Thing appears in a tar pit -and he's sinking-) Torch: GO SHACK, GET CANDLE, S (or LEAVE), FLY PIT (flame's on), GET WATCH FROM THING, SWITCH Thing: GET CANDLE FROM TORCH, SWITCH Torch: LEAVE PIT, FLAME OFF, SWITCH Thing: HOLD BREATH, WAIT 15, WAIT 10, FEEL AROUND, SMASH MACHINERY (or DESTROY MACHINERY), SWITCH 2) BURN TAR PIT AND PLACE CANNON -using a bug :)- Torch: FLY PIT, THROW HIGH FLAME AT TAR (tar's burning), FLY HILLS (you can't be attacked), FLY CASTLE, FLAME OFF, S(x2), GO LATVERIA, GO SHOP, GET POWDER, E(x2), GO TENT, ENTER CANNON, DROP POWDER, LEAVE CANNON (bug discovered: RingMaster commands you to leave tent -but if you look at your inventory you can see you carry the cannon :D -) N(x2), DROP CANNON, 3) THE CAVE Torch: FLY HILLS(x2) (flame's on, you reach a cave), GO CAVE, SHOOT HIGH FLAME AT BOULDER (you see a pebble), GET PEBBLE, PUSH PEBBLE UNDER BOULDER, FLAME OFF, REST 50, -recharge energy-, SWITCH Thing: W, N(x2), E, LIGHT CANDLE, W, S(x2), E, S, GET PEBBLE (if you don't see the pebble repeat N, S until it appears), THROW PEBBLE HARD UP SHAFT, SWITCH Torch: [wind's speed = hurricane] LOOK WATCH -if your energy isn't 100%, use REST command again-, ENTER HOLE, LOOK(x2), FLAME ON NOVA -you meet with Thing-, N, W, N(x2), E, ABSORB FIRE(x4), GO FIRE (here's an energy egg and a bio-gem, ignore them), E (there's a hiss), FLAME OFF (to avoid explossions), E(x2), FEEL AROUND (or FEEL WALL), GO HOLE, FLAME ON, PULL LEVER LEFT [wind's speed = strong], FLAME OFF, GO HOLE, W(x3), ABSORB FIRE(x2), GO FIRE, W, S(x2), E, S - you meet with Thing again-, GET THING, FLAME ON HIGH, FLY UP SHAFT, FLY UP(x4), FLAME OFF, N, LOOK WATCH, REST 15 4) ENTER DR DOOM'S CASTLE Torch: FLY HILLS, FLY CASTLE [cannon is here -Torch brought it here using a bug :)-], FLAME OFF, DROP THING, SWITCH Thing: ENTER CANNON, SWITCH Torch: REST 50, AIM CANNON AT BLOB, FLAME ON HIGH, FIRE CANNON AT BLOB (the fuse burns), SHOOT HIGH FLAME AT BLOB, FLAME OFF 5) FINISH THE GAME Torch: REST 50, FLY HILLS(x2), GO CAVE, REST 50 (your energy has to be 100%), ENTER HOLE, LOOK(x2), FLAME ON HIGH, FLY DOWN (you land), FLAME OFF, N, W, N(x2), E, ABSORB FIRE(x4), GO FIRE, E, THROW HIGH FLAME DOWN TUNNEL, SWITCH (there's an small earthquake) Thing: S, GET ALICIA (or GRAB ALICIA) (Return to Chief Examiner's room who says "Congratulations!
